Looks like 2009 will see much of the “Action King” Arjun. Even before, ‘Aruvadai’, Arjun’s upcoming project, is hitting theatres the action king has signed the dotted line for another film. The name of the film has been finalized as ‘Kallan’ and will see director Kicha of the Sundar C. starrer ‘Thee’ fame calling in the shots. Kicha is also neck deep in his next project titled ‘Bhavani’ that sees Sneha in the lead.

Kallan will be produced by Kovai Mani. The protagonist of the film is an encounter specialist. The story, screenplay, dialogues and direction of the film will be taken care of by Kicha. So we can expect some bold dialogues as seen in ‘Thee’.

Kicha seems to be making his mark in mass-oriented films. The hunt for the heroine is on, it might be that the director and the hero are looking for a new face but you never know – they might settle for an actress with experience as well.

The story of ‘Kallan’ would look something like this. The hero is from a middle class family who becomes a police officer through hard work. He gets cross with a villain. Then it is the fight of good over evil and how the hero finally emerges victorious.

Arjun is currently quite busy doing the final touch ups for his next release ‘Aruvadai’ that sees Mammootty, Arjun and Sneha in the lead.
